Alfalfa meal is an organic fertilizer prepared from leguminous Alfalfa plant. The Alfalfa plant is good at sending deep taproots into the soil for enhanced soil aeration and conditioning.

As a fertilizer, the alfalfa meal is a good source of the essential nutrients. It has 3% of nitrogen, 1% of phosphorus and 2% of potassium.
