Who doesn't love the exuberance of amaryllis flowers? And this time of year, they are everywhere. I've confessed before that I'm not great in the houseplant department--anything that manages to stay alive in my house for a decent period of time is a tough plant indeed. But I am trying to reform my ways. One thing I am determined to do is keep my amaryllis healthy so I can see it bloom again next winter.
